a beautiful fluffy layer of calm fell over the weekend….we went hunting for snowmen down victoria park and found so many spectacular examples. here are a few of the best we saw before they all melt away until another snowstorm….
marina was playing last night at mencap’s little noise sessions at st john’s in hackney and she was absolutely stunning live! her voice filled the rafters and beyond so here’s a little tribute this morning….a live cover and since it’s nearly christmas, a glittery one of my favourite marina and the diamond’s videos ‘i’m not a robot’.
it’s not everyday i get to start the morning with such a big smile in my belly…..this morning was filled with a secret stash of Pierre Hermé’s ispahan croissants! Beautiful flakey layers of pastry and a rose scented filling of lychees and raspberry to make any gourmand weep (me included!)….
i can’t help but fall in love nearly everything jaime hayon touches. his latest work for baccarat is a menagerie of zoo animals made from crystal and porcelain and are just sublime. i doubt one will be finding it’s way into my stocking this year but a girl can swoon…..
there have been so many designer collaborations in the last few years but nothing has provoked my need to bunk off work and head to the shops like the prospect of getting my mitts on some hello kitty liberty prints! i don’t think there is a more heavenly collaboration for me……….please september come soon x
i adore sara fanelli’s illustrations for childrens books etc…but now i can adorn my kitchen with her beautiful illustrations too! i came across this on the tate modern shop online and will be putting those pennies away (well, pounds may be more accurate), writing to santa or something to that effect for a few of these glasses to drink my morning juice from….( •‿• )
introducing the latest edition to the pango office…squidy the octopus! he is the latest addition to my enduring love affair with all things to do with cephalopods. just look at those big brown eyes-he’s a cutie!
