we are really chuffed to have featured as greeting today magazine’s best of 2011 line up. our glow in the dark cards are best for boys. dare i say it but thanks for the ‘glowing’ review!!!

i was chuckling along to episode 3 of the new series of ‘life’s too short’ by ricky gervais and stephen merchant last night when my beady eye spotted a couple of pango cards in the background!!! how brilliant! a kitty cat cupcake card from our ‘sweet as’ range and also a ‘glitter jelly mould’ butterfly! it’s nice to know someone in the prop department is a secret pango fan and our cards get to be ‘extras’!

marina was playing last night at mencap’s little noise sessions at st john’s in hackney and she was absolutely stunning live! her voice filled the rafters and beyond so here’s a little tribute this morning….a live cover and since it’s nearly christmas, a glittery one of my favourite marina and the diamond’s videos ‘i’m not a robot’.

it’s not everyday i get to start the morning with such a big smile in my belly…..this morning was filled with a secret stash of Pierre Hermé’s ispahan croissants! Beautiful flakey layers of pastry and a rose scented filling of lychees and raspberry to make any gourmand weep (me included!)….

i was scouring the shops down brick lane and really sad to see the demise of so many of my favourite shops down chester street. luckily there a few left standing and i spotted this very sweet avon perfume bottle from years gone by in an old map shop. it wasn’t for sale but it won’t stop me from hunting one down on ebay.

i think Carnaby Street has the most fun Christmas lights in London. they usually scale Christmas icons up. i particularly loved the oversized Michelin man style snowmen they had a few years back. so sticking to that tradition, here are this year’s extra big mistletoe to smooch under…..

i do not how i missed this first time around but the animation is incredible! i was shown it last night when we were indulging in a spot of nostalgia and watching all the opening sequences to 70s and 80s cartoon classics we were brought up on from thunder cats, jem, willow the wisp, trap door to name but a few!
mio mao is awesome and i want to watch all the episodes now….enjoy!
