operation christmas child
a friend told me about this amazing initiative- operation christmas child. you only have one more day to get your parcels out to the drop off points all over the country but i still wanted to write about it (just in case 1 more person sees it). i think it’s a great idea. you fill a shoebox with little gifts for either a boy or girl and the shoebox is then delivered somewhere in the world through the samaritan’s purse to a child who could do with a little joy in life. it’s just a very small gesture but hopefully it will make someone smile whether or not they believe in christmas….
